Dr. Ute Resch-Genger
Dr. Resch-Genger is head of Biophotonics at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). Her interests span photophysics of molecular and nanocrystalline UV/vis/NIR/SWIR emitters, stimuli-responsive optical probes, signal enhancement, multiplexing, and barcoding strategies, and methods for surface analysis of nanomaterials. She is also responsible for the development of optical reference materials and nanoscale reference materials and for concepts for validating optical-spectroscopic measurements.
Dr. Resch-Genger also serves as vice chair of the steering committee of the Methods and Applications in Fluorescence (MAF) conference series, and is on the editorial boards of Bioconjugate Chemistry, Scientific Reports, and Methods and Applications in Fluorescence (MAF)
