Prof. Kun-Hong Lee
Kun-Hong Lee is Professor and Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, and Dean of Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). He received his B.S. (Seoul National University, Korea), M.S. (KAIST, Korea) and Ph.D. (University of Delaware, U.S.A.) all in Chemical Engineering. In 1987, he started his career as an assistant professor of POSTECH, and has been staying at the same school since then. He was appointed as the Director of the National Institute for Nanomaterials Technology (NINT) in 2005, and is now serving as the Research Director of the NINT. He was the vice president of the Korea Institute of Chemical Engineers (KIChE), and the Korean Carbon Society (KCS). He received the Simgang Award from KIChE, and published 180+ papers, and presented 300+ at various conferences, though his main concern lies on real applications, which are proved by his 90+ patents.
