Dr. Prisca Viviani
Prisca Viviani holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and has gained research experience at IMEC (Belgium) and Drexel University (USA). Her research focuses on electrochemistry and functional materials, with particular emphasis on MXenes and their applications in electrochemical energy storage devices. Her work combines materials synthesis and characterization with electrochemical investigations to explore charge-storage mechanisms, electrode-electrolyte interactions and material stability, particularly in aqueous zinc-based batteries. She currently conducts research at Politecnico di Milano within the ERC-funded IMMENSE project. Her activities also encompass the development of MXene-based inks, conductive polymer composites and printable functional materials for sensing and flexible electronics.
