The 2nd Edition Smart Materials & Surfaces conference, SMS Korea 2016, is a three-day event targeting researchers interested in the design, modification, characterization and applications of Novel Smart & Active Surfaces and Materials. It seeks to be a leading event in the area of smart materials, coatings, surfaces and structures in the world. The goal of conference is to provide a global platform for researchers and engineers coming from academia and industry and different regions of the world to present their research results and activities in the field of Intelligent Materials science and engineering. The conference will provide opportunities for the delegates to exchange face-to-face their novel ideas and experiences with the international experts during plenary & invited talks, oral presentations and posters sessions.
SMS Korea 2016 is to be held in parallel to SURTECH KOREA Expo as a joint event and will be held in the SONGDO CONVENSIA, Incheon, Korea. Incheon is ranked in size as the 3rd city in Rep. of Korea. Incheon is the host of Incheon International Airport (ICN), the main airport serving Incheon and the capital Seoul. Getting to Seoul can take up 2 hours by subway. SURTECH KOREA exhitors are invited to join SMS KOREA 2016 as attendees, presenters or speakers. They are invited to submit their abstracts when they are looking to make poster or oral presentations.
