Dr. Bo Li
Dr Bo Li is currently an Associate Professor and the Principal Investigator of Hybrid Nano-Architectures and Advanced Manufacturing Lab (HNAM) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Villanova University.
He received a B.S. degree in Polymer Materials Engineering (2005) and a Master degree in Materials Engineering (2008) from Sichuan University, Sichuan, China, and a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Materials Engineering Division) from Northeastern University, Boston in 2013. He worked as Postdoc Research Associate in the Department of Materials Science and NanoEngineering at Rice University, under the supervision of Prof. Pulickel M. Ajayan.
His research interests include:
i) Advanced manufacturing of nanomaterials and their highly organized hybrid architectures;
ii) Atomic to molecular level interfacial engineering of nanomaterial and polymer;
iii) Multifunctional system based on nanomaterial-polymer hybrid architectures including sensors, actuators, and energy storage devices.
He has published more than 50+ papers in high impact peer-reviewed journals such as Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Nano Letters, Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Small, etc.
