NanoTox Connect 2027 brings together researchers, clinicians, industry professionals and regulators who work with nanoparticles, from how they are made to how they behave in the body and in the environment. The conference looks at the full picture: designing and characterising nanoparticles, using them safely in medicine and diagnostics, understanding their effects on living systems, and bringing them responsibly to market.
The programme covers six main areas:
- Nanoparticle Design, Synthesis & Characterization: how nanoparticles are made, modified and measured, with a focus on reliable, reproducible and standardised methods.
- Nanoparticles in Nanomedicine & Nanodelivery: how nanoparticles carry drugs, RNA and genes to the right place in the body, and their role in cancer treatment, imaging and theranostics.
- Nano–Bio Interactions, Toxicology & Safety: what happens when nanoparticles meet cells and tissues, including uptake, the protein corona, toxicity, immune responses, test models and risk assessment.
- Nanoparticles for Diagnostics, Sensors & Nanodevices: nanoparticle-based sensors, point-of-care tests, imaging, lab-on-chip systems, nanoelectronics and nanophotonics.
- Environmental, Green & Sustainable Nanoparticles: cleaner ways to make nanoparticles, what happens to them in the environment, and their use in water treatment, agriculture and food.
- Emerging Technologies, Translation & Industrial Applications: new types of nanoparticles, AI-assisted design, large-scale manufacturing, quality control, regulation, patents and commercial use.
NanoTox Connect 2027 is held alongside EuroDD 2027, NANO•DELIVER 2027 and NANOPARTICLES NEXUS 2027 giving participants access to a wider community working on drug delivery and nanomedicine. Whether your work is in the lab, the clinic, industry or policy, the conference offers a place to share results, discuss safety and sustainability, and build new collaborations.
