MDPI Sensors Journal

Sensors (ISSN 1424-8220; CODEN: SENSC9) is the leading international peer-reviewed open access journal on the science and technology of sensors.

Sensors provides an advanced forum for the science and technology of sensor and its applications. It publishes reviews (including comprehensive reviews on the complete sensors products), regular research papers and short notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. There are, in addition, three unique features of this journal:

• Manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas are particularly welcome.
• Electronic files and software providing full details of calculation and experimental procedures can be deposited as supplementary material.
• We also accept manuscripts regarding research projects financed with public funds in order that reach a broader audience.

World Battery Industry Expo - WBE 2021

With over 600 exhibitors and 25.000 visitors, the World Battery Industry Expo - WBE, formerly Asia Battery Sourcing Fair - GBF ASIA takes place at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou. The exhibitors present a wide range of batteries of various kinds, including lithium batteries, power batteries and battery management systems for electric vehicles and electrical devices, storage batteries for wind power generation and photovoltaic systems as well as materials, accessories and testing devices. As is known, China has become the world's largest lithium-ion battery manufacturing country since 2018. It is predicted that by 2020, China's battery capacity will account for more than 70% of the global market, and lithium-ion battery output will reach 205.33 GWh by 2020, with a CAGR of 41.88% in the next two years.

The World Battery Industry Expo WBE will take place on 3 days from Monday, 16. August to Wednesday, 18. August 2021 in Guangzhou.

The journal welcomes high-quality studies reporting innovative materials, novel detection principles, and/or significant development of known devices. All work must be of significant interest to the community, and, where relevant, must show in situ or real-life sample testing.

Sensors & Diagnostics welcomes contributions from across the breadth of related fields, including biomedical research, drug discovery, environment, food, medicine, and security and defence.
